Porta Posnania ICHOT specially designed complex of a modern main building and a renowated Cathedral sluice gate. Porta Posnania is the first centre of heritage's interpretation in Poland. It depicts history of the island, the developement of the city of Poznan and origins of Polish State by means of the new technologies.

National Museum is one of the oldest, biggest and major museums in Poland. It is divided into 9 branches: National Museum in Poznan, Museum of Applied Arts, Museum of the History of Poznań, Military Museum of Wielkopolska, Museum of Musical Instruments, Etnography Museum, Rogalin Palace Museum, Gołuchów Castle Museum, Adam Mickiewicz Museum.
National Museum is located in two buildings. The Gallery of Polish Art from 16th-18th c. and the Gallery of Ancient Art offer a unique collection of portraits of Roman Emperors, the collection of Western European paintings, art ranging from Enlightenment, through Romanticism, Impressionism, Symbolism - including the biggest polish collection of J. Malczewski.

The Great Poland`S Museum Of The Fight For Independence is divided into several branches: the Museum of the Great Poland`s Uprising 1918-1919, the Museum of the “Poznan” Army, the Museum of Great Poland`s Martyrs at Fort VII, the Museum of Armaments and the Museum of Poznan's June 1956. Museum commemorates Greater Poland’s history in 19th and 20th century.The main collections of the Museum include documents, uniforms and weapons from World War I and the Wielkopolska Uprising.
